How to use StormWise

  1. Download the Image Marker (Link).

  2. Prepare Your Space: Choose a well-lit room and place the printed image marker on a flat surface.

  3. Open a Custom Scenario (Optional): If you have a customized scenario SWCF file created with our authoring tool, open the file with StormWise to launch the app.

  4. If you don’t have a custom scenario, open the StormWise app directly.

  5. Scan the Marker: After launching, select “Scan” and point your device’s camera at the printed image marker to begin.

How to use StormWise Creator

  1. Import an Existing Scenario (Optional)
    • If you have a pre-existing scenario file (.swcf), import it into StormWise.
  2. Create and Configure Scenario Elements
    • Add and customize elements such as:
      • Thunderstorm: Define parameters like moving direction, duration, and height.
      • Flight Path: Set up waypoints
      • Text: Insert annotations or instructional content.
      • Quiz: Create interactive assessments for users.
  3. Save Your Scenario
    • Export the configured scenario as a .swcf file.
  4. Distribute to Mobile Devices
    • Send the .swcf file to mobile devices with the StormWise app installed using any preferred commercial method (e.g., email, cloud storage, direct transfer).
